I just started using the Unreal Engine 2 Runtime demo and played around with UnrealEd a little (though I’m planning to buy UT2004 this week). However, I’d like to do as much modeling work with Maya as possible, and export all my models to Unreal. There is an ActorX plugin for Maya, but that seems to be used mainly for exporting character models and animations. How do you deal with creating props and buildings for the levels in Maya?

Load up the plugin and type “axmesh” on the command line in maya to export level geometry.
