Creating Displacement map in Mudbox

Well, when im tring to create a displacement map for my model to get into maya… It always ends up really wierd and most of the time nothing, and its taking about 30+ min to create a very, very small displacement map that should normaly take about 1min. But for some reason it takes very long time, I have the basic settings within Mudbox 2010 and I have a good computer that should create them in a short time, but doesnt.

So if someone know how I can fix this or know the cause, please help… In this rate I will be finishing my work by next year.

have you tried the mudbox basehead as a test…?
or did you working with your own mesh…?
maybe bad uvs…?

Yeah it was the uvs, but how can i fix it? Most I redo my topology in the low res, that Im trying to do is a low poly game character. And then make it more detailed with mudbox, so look at this character that I made for a quick test.

(if someone want to use it for other perpouse, do it…)
