Creating a wipe effect for breakdowns

#1

Guys, I am really in a pickle. I am trying to show my breakdown for a scholarship entry. I am looking for a simple wipe effect for each operator (reveal tool??), or failing that, just turning the operators on or off (can this be animated?). I am sure this is easy, but I am really rushed for time and have to work another job during the day.

I am going to try and work something out, but would really appreciate any tips on how to do this common task. Does it involve a reveal/mask for every operator?

Cheers

Arange the shots with the edit operator and use the transitions build in. There are also standard video transitions like gradient wipe under operator > video.

Cheers, I got pointed to the edit operator by someone else as well (never used it before).

In a nutshell I rendered off a frame for every operator in the composite, each one essentially having one more layer on top of it. I then lenghened the frames and brought them into the edit operator and did a wipe transition between each one.

Dang, glad I got that worked out at midnight before this is due

Looks good though.
