Create flowing blood (of fluid)

#1

Hello

For a project I have a character that falls on the floor. Then after that I would like:

  1. spots of blood that land on the camera and start dripping of the lens
  2. blood on the ground that starts flowing slowly.

I am not asking a complete tutorial how to do this (but if it exist, don’t hesitate  ) but I would like to know what tools I should use for this. Is it possible in 3DSMAX or should I do that in postediting with After Effects? Should I use reactor or something else?

I just don’t have a clue.

Thank you for your efforts!

You will need to use a particle system system and ( I’m thinking) blobmesh. 3DWorld magazine just did a “how-to” article on blood splattering on a wall for max. I think it was last issue . You could also get glue3D or Realflow. Also search the forums for rain/ fire/ smoke. All use a particle system and would put you in the right direction.
