Crashing problems

Well I just got the software downloaded last night. After playing all day, I am a newbie to 3d, I am getting the basics down. I LOVE the program and design. I have, however, had problems with crashes, crashed 3 or 4 times today alone, usally when moving mutiple polys…Runnin on mac 1Ghz, 1.5Gig ram laptop.
The program does run smooth and fast other than the crashes. Hope this gets cleaned up soon.

Please send as much information about the crashing to cs@luxology.com. Since you are on a Mac you should have crash logs which you should send to use as well if you can. Also, please include your complete hardware configuration including graphics processor.

We are working on a service update so any and all information users can provide will be very helpful.

Will send today along with Crash log… ran stable all night however. It only crashed while I had Adobe Illustrator open as well. I dont know if that was the problem though, just an observation.

i had the very same problem Slim,
i was running modo on a 1.8 GH pentium 4 , 256MB of RAM
the software was crashing like … 3, 4 times a day.

i booted my machine up with another 256 RAM, now im running it on 512 MB of RAM, plus NVIDIA G-force 4

Now the software is running perfectly, not a single crash since a week or so :thumbsup:
