Hi guys,
I’ve got this statue model that i need to animate cracking and coming to life…
i was gonna do it in maya and try using blastcode… however i’ve got a polygonal model and i’ve decided to use xsi and use the shatter pulgin from http://www.motionblur.it/

the problem i’m having is that i cant really animate the cracks taking place…
also when i run the simulation sometimes all the fragments just fly off into the air…
(i’ve used gravity and i’ve made sure that the bounding boxes of the rigid bodies dont intersect)
