Corsair 750D owners

Could anyone who owns one of these answer a minor aesthetics query

I understand it has two flaps where the optical drives belong. So to have an optical drive you have to take them off - my question is can you put the flaps back on once you install the the optical drives to maintain the original look.

The flaps are replaceable and their removal/installation is tool-less. However, the optical-drive is recessed by about 4mm. When you have the optical drive installed, this is the look:

ah that sucks!
it’s not the biggest issue but when you’re paying a fair amount why not look for the best one out there - ill have to keep browsing.
