Corel FTP, Cannot get access anymore.

Well, when I go to ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/ I get a user and password window . I cannot obtain access using my Corel user data so I´m wondering if it´s just me or not. I don´t remember this login stuff in Corel Pub ftp.
I will contact Corel too, of course.

Don’t know if I’ll be able to reach anyone at Corel on Monday, but I’ll try to remember to try, then get back to you with the answer (hopefully).

Hi again,

Just sent an e-mail to Rob MacDonald, Steve Szoczei, and the Painter Team at Corel asking any and all of them to get back to me ASAP with some info on what we can do to access the FTP server for version updates, etc.

Will let you know when I hear from them.

Hi,

I heard from David Toeg at Corel the other day but only remembered to post here when there was no time do to it, then I forgot when there was time!

Sorry for the delay.

He said he talked with Steve Szoczei and was told Corel’s IT systems were migrated last weekend to new servers which should make everything faster. He said they were assured there wasn’t going to be an interruption in service, but it seems some other issues are popping up (i.e. the logging in issue to the Corel FTP).

He said they’re definitely looking into it.

Hopefully, he’ll get back to me when the issues are resolved.

Until then we can continue checking, then post here when we can again download files as usual.
