Cool lightwave plugin/previewer !

#101

I get only crashes from the two exe files posted.
I was trying to run it on a dual screen (2x 1400x1120) GeForce 6800GT with 256MB, P4 3.2 Ghz with 2 Gig of Ram. WinXP SP2.

But your work looks fantastic

Cheers,

#102

Are there plans for on OSX version? That would be my only request.

#103

very interesting…

so could this become like Lightwave’s version for Hardware render ?
especially if u have particles and physics etc…

#104

It should be a real dream having them in LW’s OGL (particles and physics too)! :deal:

#105

This is a really interesting plugin, i am going to keep watching this thread. Do you have any more samples scenes to share?

#106

Bump…
nearly the end of the month any news on how the alpha is going

#107

so, no more news about this great tool, wassss up ?

#108

Is there a Mac version of this app?

#109

If you would’ve had read the thread and you’d know that 1) Mac version isn’t planned/in works at the moment 2) this app isn’t even ready yet :stuck_out_tongue:

#110

wow this seems pritty cool!

Will this alpha be open to the public?

interacticity would be nice especially for kiosks

once this is released as a product parhaps you could integrate automatic online updates in the program, maybe you can add its own standalone optioins pannel and editer so you can sequense the interactivity and add sound and stuff

sounds awesome and will even more after intgration with shaders, physics, volumetrics, HV, etc.

#111

any news about this fantastic project?

WOW! The fluidness of the PIM viewer was absolutely amazing. It looked like in game footage of a FPS. Estremely cool.

I’m also very interested in the output as an .exe if I’m understanding it correctly. I’m familiar with Macromedia’s Director where the user can kind of control the flow of the animation, is that what you’re saying a user would be able to do to a degree? Meaning, like a Quicktime VR but be able to it with a fly through, etc.

#113

any more news on this project?

#114

Holy crap, just got a look at the AVI. Looked like UT2K4, just zoomin around a level, realtime, no problem.

Must have it, come on man, you can’t leave us hangin like this.

#115

hey let us know what’s going on, or you sold it to Newtek and we’ll get it in 8.5, as they stated opengl improvements ?

#116

oh man this is awesome…between fprime, g2 and this I dont know what to get. Cant wait till u drop this puppy.

#117

I think that’s what happened too,
very nice, can’t wait to download the 8.5 update !

#118

lightwave 8.5?..if this comes into lightwave 8.5 in the free update it will really set the cat among the birds so to speak!..

looks amazing!

#119

Don’t count on it!

#120

Nobody said it would ever be anything but a standalone app. Don’t be starting false rumors folks.
