Converting Old Brushes?

I have some old brushes that are not compatible with CS3. Is there any way to convert them?

Huh? You should be able to use them - even if they are from Photoshop V3.

The only thing that might be the problem is if the brushes are from CS4 (but even then I have CS2,3 & 4 and go back and forth), or if you are trying to use PSP or Corel Paint brushes. There are ways around the problem as long as the brush is actually an image stamp. If they’re dynamic in the other programs you will only succeed in getting the base image file and not the settings.

Or the file could be corrupt. IDK.
