Controling Particle Color with a Gradient

Is is possible to control the Particle Color with a Gradient?

I would like the particle to change color with age using a Gradient Map. I am aware of the Particle Age Map but it only seems to allow 3 colors.

There used to be a plugin in “Pandora” that allowed you to control color and opacity with a gradient.

Check out the Help for the Operators, Mapping. It works with the Gradient Ramp and does what you want.

…or u can use particle age map in conjunction with material dynamic.

Actually, you can get the Particle Age map to use more than 3 colors if you nest them within themselves. But it is a lot simpler to just use the Mapping and a Gradient Ramp.
