Conecting 5 side curves Maya

How I make a surface with 5 curves in maya?
I attach you a picture to see more.

make sure curve is selected Surfaces > Planar

you can pick between nurbs and polygon

This metod dont work because curves are not planar are curved.
I found myself a method and it is to connect two curves, select all remaining curves and apply boundary modifier.
More suggestions are welcomed!
