Ok time to ramp up for Preproduction…
Before I announce the challenge here, I will organize a
ONE WEEK Storyboarding competition based on the challenge
that will start next week.

The topic for the next fxwars challenge will be:

The idea is to get sotyboard artist to probide storyboards that you COULD use.
Magic Wand sounds the best out of the 2… I would say space fight but I don’t have that much time lol.
hhhhmmm, does sound extremely tempting. Theres potential for some nice pflow, TP, fume exercises in this. ><
Would be cool try try and get a max vs maya challenge going in the near future also, have we ever managed to have one yet?
yeh, well i kinda meant in a few challenges. It would take some organizing and trying to keep the teams balanced and having someone or a few people to lead groups ect ect.
Well there are more flavors in the world than those two…

Would be a big fxwars, good thing you saved some of the better bigger challenges.

Cool R, Will shots be filmed by us or will shots be provided?
I would really need provided footage. If not, I suppose I and many people wouldn’t be able to do it.
If the shots is supposed to be filmed by us, could we have the option for doing a clone duel?
I have no problem with that…
I only have one warning to all participants.
The quality of the of the finished filmed shorts HAS TO BE HIGH.
A non budget production does not have the excuse that it cannot
a decent production.
(Long time members of the forum know why I am giving this warning)

Well something has come up
(I have been invited to do some interviews at Carnegie Mellon University)
This means that I might have to push back the magic Wand Challenge since I will be busy as
hell.
Until Then we can do the Flying car challenge…
