Hi!
I have a question about the measurements of comicbookpages. What size and resolution do comicbook artists usualy work in? I’m mainly thinking about comics made directly in the computer, so a page size in pixels and its resolution.
Thnx.

If you’re referring to the American comic industry standard, it’s always been 11x17 sheet, with half-inch side borders and one-inch top/bottom borders. Just make sure if do you do bleed pages, anything that’s important is kept within those borders. As far as resolution on the computer goes, 300 DPI is the typical printing resolution.
This page has some good info on different types of standard comic book layouts. There’s a template you can download too, which I found helpful. (Eventually, I just scanned a pre-printed blue line art board and made my own template out of it, which I recommend because it has the divisions marked as well. Just be sure the one you scan is actually marked correctly, because the marks on mine were uneven!)
