Seeing Charles Schulz made me think of a Peanuts style Batman. I got to searching and found almost the exact opposite.

This site (in spanish) is interesting because it compares frames from different artists (mainly Rob Liefeld and Mcfarland) whom apparently copied almost wholesale from earlier artists. My spanish is pretty rusty, but you can see how each artist’s style compared in relation to almost exact framing and poses.

Edit: It helped me spot the subtle differences between artistic styles. Some of the “heroes” of comic book art I couldn’t pick out from one another in a lineup because they seem too similar to my eye.
