Combustion Import Problem with FCP

#1

The footage from FCP 8 bit uncompressed MOV file, can be import well in the AE and SHAKE. But has problem to the Combustion. I have tested it on two machine. I dont know why two computer has the same problem of import the footage from FCP by combustion. One is wildcard7210, the other is G450. I will upload one test mov from FCP, and jpg which tells what the problem is. But the test file of mov which has only one frame, is 10 MB size, that seems hard to upload here. if someone wants to try, i can mail to u, or by msn.

You may tell me “why dont u just change it to tga sequences to feed the combustion”. The reason is the quilty loss. Sure I use the lossless format. And u may not tell the difference between the source and sequence ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN, but when u turn it back to video, the saturation and luminance is different to the original one. it means there is a loss in the conversion. The convertion tool that i have tried is: FCP, SHAKE.

And i have changed the Quicktime version (6.01 6.5 7.0), but helpless.

And i have updated the combustion to the lastest version.
