I just finished a short personal animation and I was wondering if I need to worry about color spaces.
The animation will be sent to festivals and at some point be uploaded online, so I am not exporting for any particular projector/screen. I’ve rendered and comped in linear, while looking though sRGB on the viewport and exported a tiff sequence.
Even if in photoshop the tiffs appear untagged in photoshop, the h264 appears to be correct, so I guess the codec assumes sRGB by default.
I believe codecs like h264 and proRes have color spaces as well, right?
Is sRGB the safest option? Is there anything else I need to consider at this point?
