I’m learning color- it’s great! I’m wondering if it is safe to say that a color’s saturation increases as the value decreases, oh man, I guess that this idea is harder to explain than I thought it would be. In the example that I am shading something with color, I have been decreasing the saturation and increasing the value in areas where the light is greatest, and when that same object finds itself in a darker areas I have been decreasing the value and increasing the saturation.
I guess the previous paragraph would infer that I could benefit from a book on color theory and painting with color. I just switched to the HSB sliders in Photoshop, seems to make a big difference…
Any constructive thoughts?
