I would like to team up with a skilled Fur artist to fur a bear that I already modelled, rigged, blends, etc. I actually furred him too but because this isn’t my specialty, my fur was flat looking.[sub-par] I plan to do a great animated short with hopefully alot of exposure and you will get full credit and use of the still and movies for their own use as they wish. Its a personal project so it would be unpaid but it will certainly look good on the reel and will accomodate you with everything you need for that.
It is currently dressed as a ‘Sun Bear’ but I would actually prefer a Polar Bear as alot of the detail was lost in the dark fur. The light fur would be more expressive i think. I am open and flexible and very easy to work with. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to put a realistic animal on their reel. I plan to do a humorous short using a realistic bear as the protagonist. I plan to move ahead after I return from SIGGRAPH in August.
