Best free choise is Blender’s Node editor. It looks a
little like Shake 2.5 and you have to remember lots of
keyboard shortcuts, right mouse button simply is not
there in most cases. I also use an older free program
called Claxa for rotoscoping.

Thanks for information, I have a question about this programs: anyone is based on cloud solution? I can not afford investment to hardware and I’m looking for solution who isn’t requirement.

i doubt there is a cloud based software for compositing right now.
there are several issues to consider: compositing uses a lot of footage and transfering that over the internet to the cloud based computer takes time. even if you upload all your footage before you start it will take a long time, we speaking here of several GBs of data (depending of shot length and how many elements you have)
then you often (speaking of VFX work) decide to add a nother element to the shot and now you have to upload that again. in the mean time you have to wait and cant work anymore.

so you wont get a speed increase when you compute your effects on a remote computer.

as the other guy said before: there are some cheap (or free) alternatives in software which will get you started and become familiar with the principles of compositing.

Surely for a free software like Blender there must be some
free render farms. I am an amateur so i do not need to render
but if i had a small project to deliver with a cost of say €0,5/hour*
core i imagine i would pay less than €50-60 which seems
acceptable. Anyway you should Google for render farm.
Thanks pingking for pointing out the upload time issue, it
seems better to have your own workstation after all.

He’s not talking about free render farms*, he’s talking about online compositing tools, similiar to Excel online or other cloud based programs.

*it’s pretty doable with Amazon’s EC2, the starter package offers 750 CPU hours per month for free.

I think about solution like this: I upload everything to the cloud and I work on files that has just dropped.

AFAIK there isnt something like that availible.

as i said transfering the footage to the cloud is a huge deal breaker

but maybe this will become something for you: http://flowbox.io/
