Cloud Projections - How to improve this shot?

Hi guys

Could you give me your input on how to improve this shot -the projections on the sky.
In the story, they are supposed to come from a lighthouse with stencil shapes.
I´m feeling it´s a bit too flat/digital but I´m struggling to understand how to improve/make it look more interesting. Any thoughts? suggestions?

In my opinion, they are too dark, and maybe adding volumetric trails could help.
