I’ve got a character with the Cloth modifier on it and a Cloth object on their head.
When I start the simulation–Local or baking it; either way–the object will get basically absorbed into the collision object. Parts that shouldn’t be touching the collision object just get snorked inside it like the vertices are actually attracted to the collision object. Nothing is animated, everything is at rest, nothing is touching, but these verts move as though the character is generating three times the gravity of Earth and then they stick as if they’re in a ‘Surface’ group.
I’ve looked all over the web for a solution, from Offsets to Depth, etc…and it sounds like the problem is the units being set poorly.
I’ve adjusted them in every direction, ranging from 0.1 to 1000 and everything in between and it doesn’t seem to help.
I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s really messing with my animation. Please help?
