Cloth collider not good simulation ??

i’ve animation task for my study,but i’ve problem on clothing with my character…
the collotion is not work perfectly…
and i’ve made the cloth like professor jacket…
but the simulation is not good…
how to setting and tips for cloth collider ??
i’ve the setting like this :
cloth tag :
iterations : 500
stiffness : 100%
flexion : 5%
and other default setting…

maybe anyone know my solutions ??

Hi,
the key to useable cloth is a good mesh. Can you post the scene or at least a picture of the cloth Mesh (unsubdivided)?

The collar is simply wrong, one long polygon is not nearly enough and the rest of the cloth will make for very poor clothing as well since there are to few polygons.
Keep in mind that the cloth can only bend on edges.

now i know,so i dont know about topology of clothing…

so,add some polygon is one solution ?

and how about my topology ?
because i dont understand about topology of cloth…

maybe do u have any tips for it ??

I’ve put together some rules on cloth when it came out

It’s a bit dated now but most rules still apply

I’m sorry, the videos are years old and i don’t have the original files anymore.
If you don’t understand the tips i’m hard pressed to give you the same advice in a different way :confused:
