So i’m a 3dsmax user learning my way into zbrush. Still alot to learn.
Doing a character cloth i made the pants from a extracted part of the legs. So far so good. Only to realize that i doesnt need that much extracted leg in the pants. I will make some boots later so some parts would never really appear.
Trying to reduce the polycount i made the crappy solution of going to Goz/3dsmax and deleting the parts that will not show. The end result you can see in the jpeg below.

Since im still learning i have some doubts regarding zbrush. There is any way os closing those holes in the sliced pants?

Instead of cutting in a external program, Zbrush have any tool to doo that? (i try clipcurve, but with strange results, its seems to work properly only with solid objects)
