Client-Server Software Developer:
Sony Pictures Imageworks, an Academy Award winning digital production studio, is seeking an innovative, energetic software developer with experience in client-server software development. Candidate should be experienced enough to understand and enhance existing client-server software in C++/Java.
Essential skills:
* Java
* C/C++
* Tomcat, Apache
* Software testing
* SOAP, CORBA, Java RMI
* Linux (RedHat 4/CentOS 4 preferred)
Desirable skills:
* Database experience: Oracle, PostgreSQL
* Perl DBI, mod_python, Ruby on Rails, lighttpd
* Source control (Subversion preferred)
* XML/RPC or REST
