Citrix windows 2008 environment problem.

I have adobe encoder CC
My client has to play a film on their citrix 2008 computers. Never heard of it until I found it on Wikipedia. Mp4 doesn’t work which is not surprising. I cant track down a codec that will do the trick. I though trusty ol cinpak would do it but I can install that on my windows 8 workstation to output the old format.

Any ideas welcome.

After further searching it seems citrix is a server environment and it has problems with windows media redirection. The sound wont play for the client and it is ACC format in media encoder the other options are dolby and mpeg which don’t sound too encouraging. Will put the answer here when I find it.
