Do you mean assigning Vue materials to C4D objects? No, this is not possible, both apps use different type of procedural functions to create materials, and they don’t translate from one to the other.
What you can do is export your C4D terrain into Vue, make it a Vue object and tetxure it in Vue, then reload the Vue scene in Cinema.
Or assign the Vue material you want to use to a Vue plane in standalone, and render the plane using the top camera, and use the render as a texture for your C4D terrain.
hi !
… but damn, that’s the reason WHY someone would want vue inside a 3d app… (hellooo ?)
it cannot be that complicated to send a little geo to vue to render after being translated from the host app.
that’s really disappointing…
thanks for the input, bruno. a reason not to buy vue … yet.
