Test renders for my diplom project. An old gothic church placed in Brzeg, Poland.
Im trying to renew old church into a social area, with high cultural potential. I was testing it but i end up with something more than test. I do not know how to place it in finished animation thread, so i put it here… where it belongs. From one render i’ve got 5 different visualisations, You can change the colour and intensity of the lights.

Everything made in Blender 2.5x
Rendererd in Luxrender v0.8.
Rendertime of all lightarragements and colours : 5h
Postpro: gimp and then Blender video sequence editor(gimp was only for testing the look, everything was in blender).
Rays, butterflys and stillouetes(motion people) are rendered in Blender.

CZE looking nice :P.

Maybe you can try to do it in Blender internal too :buttrock:

Nice work tibicen, but let me say that the result does not warrant the use of Lux.
With the internal engine you could have obtained a comparable result in a fraction of time.

the hard part is to make such shadows, and lights in blender. It is really hard for me to imitate dark places in building like this. with all the indirect light only in some parts, like on the stairs. If anybody have any ideas, please explain me.

I agree with you about the blender internal being difficult to set the right lights and settings to get the truly realistic affects. An explanation would be appreciated.

I need to watch some more lighting tutorials for blender.
