is it possible to apply a chromatic abberation to an image? (without the technique based moving on moving the rgb channels like in ps)

Well it’s still with moving the channels, but quite easy with a plugin:

i guess they all do the same thing, they shift the channel by one ore a fiew pixels right?
is there any plugin that does chromatic aberration more in a 3d fashion?morea accurate? like number 2 here:
