Cheetah (Really Need Critique on Composition)

Hey, guys!

I’m uploading here so I can get some feedback on this small picture I’ve been working on. Recently, I’ve been wanting to try new things, such as merging characters into enviroments, even if they are simple, just so I can get more used to it and then try harder things.

I need to challenge myself more and I can see I need help to improve.

  • Depth of enviroment and still manage to focus on the animal.
  • Make the composition more interesting.
  • Better render definition. Maybe tips for making a better looking fur?
  • Better lighting. Which is probably something I need to work a looot.

Thanks in advance!

The picture started as a simple doodle, and have developed to this:
