Character rigging quick help

#1

Hi I am in the process of rigging my character and I need some help on how to properly rig the arm so that the joint orientation is correct. The reason why it’s giving me problems is because the model was created in sort of an unorthodox t-pose.

I will provide pics of the arm with descriptions in red text...

Not sure if it's correct or no, doubt it is since it's giving me slight orientation problems.

How can I rig this arm properly? Or how should I orient the joints properly? The joints themselves have no rotation values since I know that's not right.

     Any help is appreciated.

Ok I managed the orientation in the fingers. But now my problem remains with the Wrist Control.
After setting up the IK’s and the Pole Vector for the elbow control, when I move the wrist control close to the body or spine joints, the elbow pops strangely.
Not sure why this is happening.

When I applied the Pole Vector constraint the elbow shifted a bit.

Here is what it looks like: http://s14.postimg.org/8wbm7tdin/Untitled.jpg
