For a master project I want a character made by stone but I’d like he seems organic, like in this video:

I’m worried that the mesh could be deformed by the rig and I could lose the rigid effect…
It’s a problem that I can fix by weight painting or during the modelling stage?
Do you have advice or video reference that I could watch to have a better idea to how realize it?
