Challenging retexture on different model question

Hi guys. I’m sorry to ask you. But I need a hint or a full walkthrough, how to rearrange textures. Given situation.

Model 1: Car Typ 1 (high polygon), own texture set

Model 2: the same car type (low polygon), but a different model (another client), and own texture set.

Now I need to arrange Model 2 to the texture set from model 1, so it fits perfectly. So far I was stuck in stitching by hand, using unwrapper pro 3d. Does anybody give me an advise, what would be the most economical way do to this?

If I’m understanding you correctly The transfer maps menu under the rendering tab should help you in the right direction.
