ok the footage is online on one server and going to two. Thanks to Daniel(PowerDan) and Ian (SoLiTuDe) for hosting. If you guys can post links to the directories that would be best, I upload them but not sure how to direct link to them.
Ianās is still uploading, right now, it maybe a 5 hour upload. There are small quicktimes in the directories. I recommend downloading them first, see if you want the footage.
Iāll post the small quicktimes on my site later this week, also Iāll have fx break downs of what was planned and what there is to do for each shot. They are basically the same effect mainly, the hands. There is also the mosters approach and such, anyway. we should have links up soon.

Hi guys, here is the footage for the Brute (By Team: David Schoneveld & Daniel Sunwoo).
There is a limit of 8 Users, one user/IP. I cant keep the Server Up 24h by day, but I will try to have it available most the time.

Do you guys feel that 3 weeks is enough extra time, or should we aim for two?

Iād be good with 2 weeks at the most. Iām afraid that Iāll be tempted to slack off and procrastinate if the deadline slips too far into the future. Iām fairly certain we can make the Aug. 29 deadline but having just gotten Shake we are under a bit of a learning curve and some extra time might be nice. Iām OK either way.

I have an enormous amount of bandwidth availableā¦ so itās not a big deal if we donāt get anybody else I think. Iām almost positive it wonāt be a problemā¦
Also: I went and recorded some really basic stuff today that are more just for quick gag shotsā¦ Iāll post them tnoight or tomorrow before I go out of town (wednesday). I have to edit them so theyāre a little betterā¦ we didnāt really plan itā¦ just kinda went out and shot with a camera, but some of the files should be useableā¦ although some will also probably be a be a bit blurryā¦
Hehā¦ the damn sprinklers came on about 10 minutes after we set upā¦ got my digital camera nice n wet!!! It missed the video cam by about a foot! Luckily it dried off really fast and didnāt get messed up at all!
Oh yeahā¦ thatās a really nice offer about the dvdās, but iām definetly not that nice

Hi Roberto. Due to work getting in the way Iām only going to be able to shoot and put up my rushes tomrrow evening my time, about 24 hours from now.

hehā¦ you said the 26th, so it can be 11:59pm on the 26th (pacific time) and I think people will appreciate it such as myself who had to work all day ā I had the files uploaded before i left for work , but wanted to create the little quicktime previews.
All of these can or probably should be edited -- you'll see black frames as a visual cue of where one "scene" ends and a new one will start... It was easier for me to do this than to sort out everything and render to different clips.

Hope you guys like it / can use it! Sorry if it's a bit blurry -- was extremely hard to tell if the back focus was out by much when zoomed out. (small screen and bright sun!)

BTW If you wish your footage NOT to be shared by other teams it is kosher. Just state it on this thread, and it will be not included in the common pool.
