Would it be ok if i start working on this in 10 days?

because this is a busy week and i have no time doing this.
interested in it a lot.

#3

The challenge is live, so its up to you when you make your start, you dont have to start it right now. Just try to make the finish date.

#4

Have you had time to put the previews up on YouTube by chance? Not sure which clip to choose without motion. Looking forward to getting started!

#5

I am in Pitssburg right now filming some more plates (next in my list is Baltimore)

I will upload some plates as soon as I get home.

The Hyperlink to Bladerunner’s Spinner Wiki-Site is missing the final paranthese “)”.

Oh and btw:

You may provide a heavily edited animation with all the trimmings (hell add live action if you want), as long a you provide another PLAIN animation of a side view of the working SIMULATION of multiple explosions in the planet surface.

Isn’t that description better suited to the Planet Explosion FXWars Session?

#7

Hi, I’ll be happy to enjoy this mini-challenge ! the concept is very nice.

but i’ve never realy followed the others FXwars, i’m not sure how to join it (and not so good in english^^), so we have one month to do it ? and I’ve to make a WIP ?

Is the scene limited to one shot ? or can I do 2 or 3 concecutive one ?

#8

haha really cool project! if i have time for it ill enter, will be my first attempt at something like this.

I’ve only watched the latest of the FXWars, but I’ll give this one a shot. I have lots of free time after work, so I should be able to get it done. You have to post a WIP thread in order to be fully registered for it, right?

#13

Yep…
Good luck.

Gerry Anderson’s SF show Space Precinct had a whole bunch of flying cars too, I used to like the Police Cruiser,s in that show.

Can I map a background plate to a plane or sphere and still call it a background plate?
