I have decided to give the CG Logo a bash.

I want to get something quite generic, So that organic, mechanical, ethereal, etc,etc can use it. This is similar to a style I use to design Tattoos with a futuristic twist. If there is any interest in this I can do a more detailed and better version if need be.

EDIT:

BTW: the top one is the actual logo entry. Ive kept it a flat colour so people can edit it themselves to fit the style of their character. The other images are examples of what can be done with a few simple filters in photoshop. Also a flat colour image can be used easily as an bump map.

hi,

i’m watching this thread after it came up. i think you guys made some very special and unique logodesigns. but in my opinion, you, or we should not design much more variations or completly different desings. we should set up the vote and decide which of the impressiv logos we choose to represent our forum.

here came up some really good ideas for the logo, and as many others, i prefer the simple and easy versions of it. i think anybody who want to compete in the vote should send heavyness his entry so that he could set up the poll …

Digging these the most so far… elaborate, but graphical, and enough variants to allow for both integrating it into a design or allowing it to stand out on its own.
