First of all - nice stuff being contributed by all of you.

I really like your initial design. My point would be to have a more simplified version of your CG and dagger/sword design. Less difficult forms. Maybe more in a direction of facepaint. Take some red and black paint on your fingers and do the logo like ancient tribes painted them on their body. For my taste of a simple logo there is too much going on in your design.

Aeons Number 5 gets my vote. Could be used as decal no problem. And looks futuristic and unique.

Great work everyone, my personal favorites are by…

  • Eirenicon (Love the “Less is more” concept in your design) but the sword could still use a little more work imo.

  • Alex Novo (Nice concept and creativity)

no, you don’t have to wait to start your creation for a final logo [start now!]. remember, it could be a main part of your character [think Superman’s logo on his chest] or it could just a small tattoo on the creature… doesn’t matter.

so how about tomorrow i start a POLL THREAD and we all vote on an emblem/logo?

My suggestion its to wait else couple days for people and those who already working on logos can do more variants to choose from. And then start a poll.

Not to dis anybody’s work, but i like the CGS logo just fine like it is! Remember we have to incorporate the logo in the model, so the fancier you do it, the harder it will be for the rest of us!

Totally agree.Think it gotta be simple and one color, so it can be scarved in wood, stone,metal,leather,…or maybe painted on skin, leather,etc,etc …anything.

(if you don’t mind me being a back-seat artist) The sword just needs to be slightly…cooler ? :wink:
Maybe just a bit narrower with slightly more exciting quillions (crosspiece) ?

OKMER, a few of your more intricate logos would look great on armour. :thumbsup:

And also, in general, I don’t think we’re going to see the Insignia boldly 'cept on stuff like shields, breastplates etc. Large objects.

So i reckon the main thing is that we keep the color schemes prominent (blank n red), with the Insignia being a little “extra” detail ?
(Depending on your char, of course).

Inspired by Eirenicon’s work made this quicky.
The right upper one might be a bit too much “tattoo”…

 But i do agree and think that using simply the CGS logo as it is would be the best.
 It's simple, it's clear and you can use it on all supports.Painted, scarved, bumped, etc...
 
 Do we have to respect the white,red colors of the logo?or can we put it scarved in a sword for exemple?...

Dont know if i have the time or character skill to compete in the WAR, but ill give my 2cents for the team logo:

Remember this is set in a post-apocolyptic time, where electro/mechanical technology has been literally disabled by the remnant energies of some previous ultimate weapon. It can be imagined that any logo/insignia would not be reproduced mechanically or otherwise, and that this and also the ethos of the rudimentary technology of the age would be represented and reflected in the design/symbolism of the thing itself…

Other than that i reckon the designs are fantastic maybe just a little clean-cut so far.

Also in case you didn’t notice
in rules it says

Your character must possess your team’s colors and/or your team’s insignia (if your team has one). If you don’t have the colors or the insignia located somewhere on your character, your entry will not make it into the top 50. Please represent your team properly. This is a team event so make your team proud!

So you don’t need to have both colors and insignia on your character (but you can obvisouly)… just one will do and as it seems these team colors don’t even need to be everywhere because it says somewhere, so that would mean that you wouldn’t need unified color scheme for a whole character
