I don’t know what this picture means, I just let it sort of paint itself. Zero Gravity was in my head, but I think my subconscious translated it into Zero Meaning, Zero Weight… and so on.

First women on the moon

W: Houston, we have a problem
H: What is it?
W: Nevermind its nothing
H: What is the problem?
W: Nothing…
H: Tell us what the problem is!
W: NO!

This joke just reminded me of this topic hehe!

I think that I have to practice more about coloring… I always tend to lose the values when I start coloring and make everything too dark or muddy. Well maybe this fits in this sketch.
(was over the timelimit but didnt really track the time, maybe 1½h)

Sazem, I absolutely love this one! It’s got a special quality to it, again reminding me of south american art…Frida doing space, or so, haha. It is gorgeous! :arteest:

Cheesecake!! Sorry… Got pretty ambitious with the perspective, there are tons of issues but also a couple of nice bits that sort of make it interesting I think. Once again I might have learned a thing or two.

Sazem: Don’t worry about the colors at all! It’s perfect for that dry rusty martian look. Kind of gets steampunk in a way, with the iron capsule lit in such earthy tones. I always mush away towards middle values myself when I paint things. In this case I actually did it on purpose but had to pay the price when I boosted contrast by 3-4x and got lots of quantization banding in the transitions. Sometimes it’s just nice to sketch and paint through a misty haze though.

Taron - I like a lot the texture and colors on your image. Perhaps a bit more dark contrast on the figure for a better read of the image.

Sazem - Cool image. I like the color on your image, the orange and red tones puts a nice “martian” mood on your image.

DrPetter - Nice image. The foreshortening of human body always is tricky. The skirt not help the perspective, maybe better pants than skirt. The face is really great-

Thanks, Ferx, you’re absolutely right!

Creeto, you’re too inspiring, even with a quicky like that, so I’ll have to add another go at this one. Not quite as quick, but still…
