Really nice orc and I like the story u have in your sketch!

Timelimit: The time my girlfriend was in phone (So I think bit over timelimit).

i like the dynamic in your pic. You can feel the speed.
And nice style.

My idea turned out similar to Sterngucker’s, but role-reversed I suppose. Ended up exceeding the time limit by 10-15 minutes since I did poor planning and left some important elements for last. I got stuck for too long on the foreground creature. A learning experience!

Click for large.

(Taron: Yeah, I think I got your leper joke back there, a bit far-fetched but I guess that’s the point with such puns  )

drpetter…damn! That is quite awesome! Naturally I had a very similar idea, since this setup is quite expectable, but I’ll still see if I get myself in the mood to do it. I thought of a bit more overt humor, though.
By the way, this is all your own new little painter, right?
(YAY, you did get the leper joke! No idea why I couldn’t shake off that idea…lol)

Sazem, that’s a beautiful one again, too!

Sterngucker, you did set the tone!

Taron: Thanks! Yeah. The rules were to make your own application and then sketch in it, right?

I was prompted to start it as an escape from your liquid paints in Verve that didn’t quite allow me to paint as deterministically as I thought I wanted. Ironically though, now I’ve been trying hard to come up with a more smooshy blendy brush that will look more “wet” and be better suited for soft areas, without going all the way to the primitive round thing I’ve always had which only works well for glare and haze. So far I’m not happy with these attempts, but stumbled upon this dry scruffy brush instead which is growing on me fast. It has lots of potential for happy accidents.

Everything is super-pragmatic and simple though. Just the minimal amount of faking that will yield a specific result. Certainly no elaborate physical simulations here! Kind of wish I would get around to adding undo though…
