Had a cute idea for the theme that I needed to try out. Went for a really loose inky sketch which I kind of liked, but I figured it would need at least an attempt at coloring too since there wasn’t much definition to it. Played around with some mushy painting which I suspected wouldn’t go anywhere, and true enough I ended up ditching that and instead just flooding some area fills to make it more cohesive. Total time should be less than 55 if I don’t count the unused paint job.

Maybe I will go back and try painting it more carefully some day when there’s no time limit.

(hmm… don’t ask me why the rose doesn’t obey the rules of optical mirroring)

Definitely a unique style and very stylish at that, too! I don’t think you need to go back and change anything. It totally stands on its own, ghostly rose and everything!

I have some catching up to do…
