Ok, honestly, you’re kidding me now, zyrq!? The 35min sketch looks worlds more exciting than the labored one, I’m telling you. You might not see it now, but I can promise you that you will. It is gorgeous!

As soon as you started noodling in what you felt would be “perfection”, you sucked the life out of the wonderful root like bizarre forms that get pulled into those cubes… or come out of them, but I guess the first one is the idea?! Even the arbitrary perspective of the cubes somehow has artistic intuition deep inside of them, radiating out like screaming honesty with a kind of dominance and confidence one cannot escape. It is, truthfully, a piece of art and in beautiful colors, too!

Just to clarify, I’m talking about this image:

Anyway: FANTASTICO! I love the feel of the 35min version VERY much!
You could’ve just worked it out at the actual resolution to get stronger definition and such, give the elements the strength and solidity that they appear to have at this small version, you know. But other than that, composition, flow and colors are praise worthy to the fullest.

Here’s a 4 minute abstract doodle with Verve. I’m pretty tired, but felt inspired to goof around a little:

(4min) Verve (just uploaded a new version)

Hey I’m back. I have to admit I got a little tired with it and stopped at 48 mins in.

Zyrq, amazing work. I don’t feel qualified to offer any feedback. But I agree with TheTaron, the 35min version seems a little more grim and exciting. The final version is fantastic as well. Myself, I haven’t put the time into drawing like I felt I always should have. So I bought a cheapo tablet and giving it a go. TheTaron, i might have to check out this “Verve” you speak of, very interesting. Great work! Cheers guys.

I posted this a few days ago, but i think it got lost in the shuffle with my noob clearance. So here we go. I stopped at about 40 mins. Still struggling with drawing with a tablet, and drawing in general ha.
