You have 56 mn for your your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post

  • WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
  • You may post a drawing at ANY TIME, but if you wish to be eligible for the Sketch of the Week,
    it must be finished at least a week after the topic has been posted.
  • You may also re-post a copy of your finished drawing a this forum:

  • Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
  • Only final pieces can be posted on the thread.
  • They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
  • RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 1024 x 1024.
    NOTE: The forum WILL RESIZE your image. but you may post a direct link to a high resolution version of your drawing

Argh, like the time limits are irrelevant I violate them again a little. Got carried away as I just hooked up blend modes to the layers in Verve. It’s not even that much of a sketch, but once you start playing around…argh :argh: :blush:

Love your colors and brushstrokes TheTaron. Very eerie.

I just finished reading the Art of Monsters University, and got pretty inspired afterwards. Approx. 60 mins in Photoshop and Sai.

Awww, that’s cute! I did enjoy the new monsters flick, too. Lives perfectly in that world!

I just couldn’t help it, had to do another one. I’m having way too much fun with the blend modes (additive mostly). :bounce:

Yes, you understand exactly right! Except maybe the “need” thing, of course. I add features when they come to mind or I come to figure some nice way of hooking them up. It’s all one big adventure based on pure fun and curiosity, hehe. Does nobody ever notice that my “Verve” above each image is a link to my forum for it? :lightbulb

Check it out and see if it works for you!? It really needs a new machine (3 years or younger) and a good one at that. Laptops most likely won’t do it.

Nannaia I watched your earlier entry too and I got to admit I like feeling in your works. I feel these children book style in it. I think my girlfriend would love those!

Here is mine. I have some catching to do, so I was very quick with this one :slight_smile: Now seeing all the awsome work here I kinda recret it.
