Hi all,
I would like to hear your opinion about an action scene I’ve made, entirely computer-generated. I am a computer science engineer student, and I realized this short film in my spare time. It took me about 4 months (modeling, texturing, animation and orchestral music composition).
I used 3ds Max and Vray for this project.

Did you compose the orchestral music yourself? That’s awesome.
I really like the dramatic aspect of it, even if some of the shots are maybe too long.
The moment when the character falls is lacking of dynamism, but it works for the rest of the short.
The plane is really nice rendered, the character also, but I’m less conviced by the parachute’s cloth. It looks too plastic to me.

I doubt that you can keep your eyes open like that, with the airplane door open and the strong air flow in your face. Having said that, it might be acceptable for the purpose of adding more dramatic effect to the shot. However, this was my first thought when I saw it.
