Hi,
I’m having trouble with the “calculate accurate caustics”-option when rendering… The thing is, i need to have accurate caustics in the scene, but when caustics are enabled, they are overly bright and really not accurate
What settings should i tune, to get a good result? i used the regular “dark smoked glass” material for the tables. So the caustics should be darker, not lighter, as they are in the scene… Here’s what’s up ->
The scene without caustics - table shadow not good…

the scene with caustics - when rendering a higher resolution, the caustics spot is more uniform and much brighter…

Any suggestions as to how to resolve this problem, are welcome!
kind regards,
Valdek
