- Creating concept artwork to demonstrate the plausibility of a particular game design or layout.
A successful candidate will require:
- Strong skills in digital artwork, especially in both static and animated 2D graphics.
- Ability to represent a wide spectrum of moods and artistic styles, including cartoons, realism, fantasy, etc.
- Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- A passion for gaming, and a keen understanding of games and their artwork throughout history.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable assets include:
- Prior work experience in creating game artwork on shipped titles.
- Experience with user interface design.
- Experience in character design and concept artwork.
- Experience in the creation of brochures and other marketing assets.
Include with your application a portfolio that exemplifies your range of skills in both digital and non-digital artwork. Also include a copy of a marks transcript from your educational institution.
