Can RenderCow work inside 3ds max 2009 ?

I’ve installed RenderCows on 2 PC. When I fire up Vue 7 xStream, and try to render something, network render is doing just fine.

My question is, can I use RenderCows when I’m modelling in 3ds Max and using Vue objects (I’m rendering in Max), or I’ll have to use Backburner?
