can I use old rigs for maya 2011?

I’ve started learning animation, and searched for free rigs. I saw some good rigs for maya 7 or 8 or 9. Just wondering if I can still use them in Maya 2011? Thanks :slight_smile:

Yea, they should be fine. If you run into a problem, try setting your Open File Options to [X] Ignore Maya Verison. Might help.

EDIT: how about video tutorials. can I use old video tuts on animation?
