I was wondering if anyone could share their workflow when caching out cloners and such within their scene.
At the moment, when I cache my scene to help speed up playback, my cash files are HUGE. Sometimes 3-4 gigs each. I have 4 or 5 cloners that need caching!!
I’m using Mograph Cache so I can swap out Lo-Res with Hi-Res geo down the road. I pick this technique up from tutorials.
Would Alembic be better for this type of stuff?
Is there a smaller file size to use when caching?
Is there a more efficient way to cache the files?
What’s your process like?
