Building Animation

hi everyone,

I want to make an animation like the below link, so can some one give me any idea or tips what to do ?
Please take a look at this link i want to make like this, what i want to learn is how to animate the building upward. i have created my wireframe in Google SketchUp and imported it in maya 2010 but how to animate it upward one by one. ? any help will be appreciated

One solution would be to animate the Y scale on an element-by-element basis. I’m sure that there are multiple ways of doing this, though.
