Building a Pc for Rendering

Well i am building a pc specially for rendering (well maybe for other things as well like photoshop games etc).

Below is the set up ive got so far, what i would like to know is, if this set up is good enough, as i would love to have a pc that can render fast.

You see i am a 3d student and i need a pc that can render photorealistic/animation/baking/fluid/cloth sim etc, and in the quickest time possible, as i need to meet dateline etc, i do intend to use this com even in the work industries, so please suggest me something.

Suggestion and opinions are greatly appreciated.

and i would be mainly be using Maya for most of my work.

It’s an excellent high end single CPU configuration.
Given the budget though 16GB of RAM is a bit of a pity when you could put just a little bit more cash into it and go for 32. If you go for 16 to upgrade later if needed (never a bad idea) make sure you get 2x8GB modules so you can extend with another two instead of replacing.

Also not a fan of vengeance ram bang for buck. G.Skill Ares is cheaper, better timed, and has a less obtrusive footprint.

You could also save a few bucks on the h100, it hardly makes any difference compared to the models just below. I tried it as well as the 50 and 80, i and not, and the old h80 (non i) turned out to be the best bang for buck, hardly a degree of difference to the 100 and the radiator is a lot easier to fit.

If need be, scale back the h100 to the h80 and the geforce 780 to a 770, but the bump from 16 to 32 gigs would be worth doing either of these.
